Here's the pin cushion...

Just a quick post for Wednesday to show you the final pin cushion I made for the swap. I have a busy day today, so I won't be on the computer. I need to work on my messy kitchen, I am planning to turn the one part into a sewing center and then the table area into a sitting area. All of this requires lots of packing up of stuff in cupboards and sorting through junk.  Plus, we are bringing home 2 Guinea pigs from my son's preschool today. We are babysitting them for the next week and half over April break so I need to figure out where we are putting them. We've never done well with small animals so say a prayer that we don't unintentionally kill them!

Here are some more pics of the pin cushion. I was going for a small cake, came out a bit bigger than I thought it would, but that seems to be my trend. I found the baby cake stand this past weekend and thought it would work great for this, what do you think?  I was going to put more detail but my kids said it looked good as it is, so I went with their advice.

I love the shrinkie dink pins, I plan on making a bunch more for myself.

Have a fun day.

I Love It!!! What a cute idea ~ I agree with the kids ~ the sprinkles are perfect just as they are. The recipient will be pleased as punch!

Oh Tiff!!!
I got that much written and just then got a comment from you! How fun!
Tiff, OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVE, LOVE the pin cushion and darling pins!! You gotta make some for your shop! I've got this thing for pins lately... I would love to learn to do them. Any tutorial out there?
You are sooo talented and your swap partner is going to be thrilled! I am thrilled for the both of you!

That looks good enough to eat! Your partner is one lucky duck. :) I LOVE it!!!

Your cushion looks scrumptious! Many thanks for arranging such a nice swap -- it was my first, and it was a great learning experience. It was the best way to get started.

It came out cute!

How cleaver, I love it!!

This is just too cute, Tiff! Love it VERY much!!!

I must say that is an impressive pincushion! Too cute for words.

Oh my gosh, how cute is that pincushion!? You are so talented and obviously very patient!

It's so beautiful!

Oh my cute-ness, that rocks!! Garsh TIff you outdid yourself.

And those pins oh my those pins, must be a trend as I am pineing away for cute pins too!!

It's beautiful, especially on the stand. It really gives it a prominant place - as it should. It looks great with the little shrinky dink pins in it. Good luck with the kitchen reorg and the guinnea pigs :o)

So cute! I think you need one for yourself in your kitchen sewing area. How appropriate! I think I'll make one for me as well . . .

That is so cute!! Just luscious!
